What Do You Think Of The Horror Movie “jeepers Creepers” (part 1)?

Does watching it make you uncomfortable because the movie’s director Victor Salva is a (real-life) registered sex offender? He spent some time in prison for having sex with a 12 year old boy, I’ve read. While the movie itself is well-made and truly creepy (somehow more creepy than scary), I couldn’t help thinking of the director, who must be one sick individual. What do you think?
On a side note, the classic song Jeepers Creepers is one of my all time favorites, and I didn’t like it being used in this kind of movie in this way… didn’t feel right!
wow! I did not know that.. Now that you think about it, at the end of the movie the guy’s skin hanging in there. Not a girls. That’s weird.
But I liked the movie. It was scary =)
I like the 2nd one better, it was more creepy than scary as you put it. But the 1st one was just ok. I didn’t know that about the director, it is pretty disturbing but I am glad he stayed away from any type of sexual story lines in these 2 movies or else it would have made it even more disturbing. It’s not such a scary movie, it’s pretty tame compared to others but I enjoyed watching it. I agree, the use of that song made it not feel right but I guess that was the point. If it made you feel uncomfortable I guess it got the job done by using it in the movie.
I LOVE scary movies/horror movies. This movie FREAKED ME OUT though. I am not easily creeped out or scared, but this one definitely did it for me. Maybe it’s because I saw it a few years ago. I don’t really plan to watch it again and find out though.

I thought it was good. I’m kind of used to scary shows but it was awesome. Don’t watch 2!
