Possible Name For A Movie! Asked By Director?

Hey all I’m an aspiring movie screenwriter and director. I currently live in Hollywood if that establishes credibility to some extent! I’m thinking of naming my future horror movie dealing with contagious genetic mutations “Hormonal Disturbance.” How does this sound to all of you, my clientele? Hopefully this will be my calling card to the big leagues!
“Hormonal Disturbance”…I think it’s rather catchy, it’s one of those titles you can hear that guy with the really low voice say during previews. As a future director (hopefully!) I would go with it. Though, thinking of similes to the words in your title can bring even better options. Even leaving it simple *imagine in a low creepy voice with a scream in the backround,* “Mutations…coming to theaters near you…” dun, dun, dun! Fun stuff. Good luck!
Hormonal Disturbance just brings to mind surly guys being patronising to women. Plus if it’s about genetic mutations, what do hormones have to do with it? Unless it’s caused by hormonal disturbances. In which case, I still don’t like it because it’s basically the whole film in the title. I wouldn’t go to see it, based on the name.
I’d go with something a little less obvious. Maybe one word so that it’s easily memorable.
I think you should call it 28 months later…make it a genetic disease that plagues earth,get some screen shots of life during the 28 months,but build a story of a survivor 28 months after the infection has occured,it will be a HUGE HUGE HUGE hit….do it NOW!!!!
Sounds like a flop. Unless you can cast Bruce Campbell. Anyways your movie title sounds more like a comedy then a horror movie. I’d go simply with “Mutation” or “Metamorphosis” or something simple that rolls easier off the tongue.
Ah i dream of being you!! A screenwriter in hollywood!! I think that title is a bit hard to say but it still seems good, well, depends!
Well that title sounds like a wild woman going thru menopause but other than that,it oughta pass okay…”Genetic Disturbance” sounds better to me.=)
It has potential….though could just as easily be confused for a teen sex comedy as well though – unless you are aiming for a Scary Movie type franchise??

i don’t typically watch horror movies but the title sounds good…… and scary if that is what you were hoping for
