Help With Horror Movie Title?

i saw a movie about 15 years ago that scared the crap out of me through my whole childhood and im trying to figure out the title to it. the only thing i can really remember from it is a brother and a sister sleeping in there beds, the window was open and the curtins were blowing. the boy got up out of bed and ORANGE HANDS grabed him from underneath the bed. thats about all i can remember but i think that is a pretty rememerable part of the movie. if anyone knows what the name of this movie is PLEASE let me know. it had to be made around late 1980’s to early 1990’s. thanks for the help!
The only movie I can think of offhand which has a scene BASICALLY like the one you talk about is a David Cronenberg movie, “The Brood”, starring Samantha Eggar and Oliver Reed.
Eggar plays a slightly demented wife and mother going through a divorce. Because she has such anxiety (she is also physically abusing their 6 or 7 year old daughter), she is being treated by an experimental psychotherapy which causes her to actually produce “children of rage” which go out and murder the ones she feels most threatened by.
At one point, her soon to be ex husband’s parents come to help watch after the daughter and at one point, the grandfather is sitting on the upstairs bed and all of a sudden a pair of small hands shoot out from under the bed, and the grandfather’s murder follows soon after.
I think you are thinking of Poltergeist. The scene you described sounds like the scene in Poltergeist where the boy’s clown doll(possessed by the poltergeist) pulls the little boy under the bed and starts punching the kid in the face.
It could have been Poltergeist, because there is a scene in that movie that is similar to what you described. *sm*

or it could be ” Under The Bed” thats about a brother and a sister it was made in 1988 or somthing like that.
Sounds like Poltergeist to me. I remember there was a tree outside the boy’s window that scared him. Also, he had this big clown doll that he was scared of. In one scene he looked up and it was gone. He slowly looked under the bed, but it wasn’t there. When he got back up, it was in the bed and started strangling him. I don’t know if that’s the movie you’re talking about or not.
It kind of sounds like The Brood or Demonic Toys or maybe Poltergeist but its a clown who grabs him. IT IS NOT A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET Freddy goes after teenagers in all of his movies, never a little boy and girl who are sleeping in the same room.
